Rural society in western China missed the express train to industrial development. As a result, they continually suffer the double burden of poverty and drought. People here are unable to see hope for the future.
By taking advantage of the spread of the Internet, children in Yellow Sheep River no longer need to drink water and eat cold steamed buns at every meal. Girls no longer are forced to drop out of school. They have begun to dream little by little. Citizens no longer need to leave their hometowns in order to have knowledge of the outside world.
Now, there is group of people who are devoting their mental energies and have already earned promising results. The Internet has already dawned for 800 million rural villagers.
